The move to Shipley for our singles and Doubles event proved to be a great success and saw an increase of 50% on the previous year. It proved to be an excellent tournament with trophies bring shared by seven different undertakings

 Sunday saw the singles which proved to be very tight with  Paul Simpson of Sheffield winning with 867 just 8 pins in front of  Trevor Dixon of Bradford on 859 . The scratch went  Stuart Morris from Manchester on 817  again very close with Tom Harrison of Bradford just 3 pins behind with  814.

Ladies singles handicap went to Pam Berry of Leeds with 776 ahead of Barbara Lusher. Black Country on 734. Sue Szlavik of Leeds took singles scratch with 654 aheas of Sam Shenton from Brummies with 492

The Individual Overall Handicap went to Trevor Dixon of Bradford on 1677 . Runner up was Steve Siviter from Black Country with 1616 . Overall scratch  went to Tom Gardiner from Sheffiels on 1660 from Paul Simpson also of Sheffield with 1567. Tom actually averaged 207.5 scratch over the 8 games.

The Ladies overall handicap was won once again by Sue Szlavik of Leeds on 1504 ahead of Pam Berry also Leeds with 1436 scratch overall went to Barbara Lusher of Black Country with 1079  ahead of Sam Shenton of Brummies on 1019.

It was once again an excellent weekend  We will be returning to Shipley in 2026 on 16^th & 17^th May . Our next tounament is the 4 man Team at Altrincham on Sunday 5^th October again we are hoping for a good entry.
